A third generation property developer with over 40 years’ experience

Hi! I’m Steve Chandler, a third-generation property developer with over 40 years of experience. Having commenced my career in 1980, I have participated in a vast variety of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, medical, infrastructure, and public buildings.

I am the CEO of LEFTA Group, a property and development group that specializes in advisory, consultancy, strategy, and training at all levels of property development. In addition, I am an active property developer, specialising in 30-80 apartment-sized projects.

I like to deep dive into any property situation to distinguish facts from fiction. I pride myself on taking the guesswork out of decision-making, and making recommendations that uplift property values. I always consider the complexities of a project’s landscape, how it moulds into the greater community, and how it meets the requirements of the local and state authorities.

I have provided industry-based lectures at the University of NSW and University of Technology Sydney for a period of 10 years and also travelled Australia delivering introductory and advanced level property development training for the property industry’s peak representative body, the Property Council of Australia. In addition, I held a committee member role at the International College of Management Sydney, updating their Bachelor of Property (Development, Investment & Valuation) degree.

With the passage of time, I have found that residential development is my specialty, and I now focus on assisting people to experience the financial benefits of property development.
